William is amazing and has been a guiding light in my own personal and professional journey to be true to myself. His willingness to engage in our relationship and put challenging discussion at the forefront of our engagements has been life changing and eye opening. He has helped me recognize that my learned ways of the past don't have to be the actions of my future. Each time we catch-up is enjoyable and fruitful. I know that you meet people in your life and some stay and some go....I know that William is a person that will stay in my life and my career and personal life will be better for it.

It's great to have met someone with such high enthusiasm, energy, and motivation. Being new to the Auburn area, I had the pleasure in meeting my neighbor William one afternoon. I joined a summer group six years ago that studied the book “warrior.” Since I’m a meathead and the group involved exercise, it was an easy sell when my neighbor told me I had to join him. Lots of cool things happened during this group but the most significant thing for me was witnessing a “man’s man” (William) confess his failures and show how that process of healing made him stronger. He planted a seed for me to seek more in life through true friendships that include accountability, vulnerability, and encouragement. William has helped dozens of men across all phases of life get unstuck, find hope, and grow. There is no one I know personally who is better at getting in the trench with you, helping you work through the trials, and empowering you to face all life throws your way.

2019 I was given some medical news after my wife had our second child and I decided I needed to work out. I started myself but really didn’t get anywhere. Then a friend of mine suggested a workout group to help out. The day I showed up I was greeted by William and was immediately made comfortable. He made it clear that there was no competition in the group and we were all there to improve and we’re all in it together. William not only set the tone in words but led the same way. He was an encourager every step of the way. Pouring into the men helping us believe in the potential we had. I personally was going through some identity crisis stuff and didn’t want to believe in myself. He got me to sign up for the Spartan race and I kept trying to quit. If it wasn’t for the encouragement of William and the other men he surrounded me with, I would have dropped out of the race. William led the group to a successful Spartan race and led me from a discouraged man that couldn’t run a mile to a man who ran an 11 mile Spartan and led the group the following year. On top of William’s leadership, he integrated my purpose as a man and follower of Christ in everything we did.
